Our Story

Beginning each morning in the month of January at 6:30 a.m., the Helix football teams are hard at work in the weight room preparing for their upcoming season.  We are enthusiastic and confident that the players’ dedication and commitment will lead to another exciting successful year.  As you know, we are in a recession and during these hard times, our schools are the first to have their budgets cut.  The easiest and always the first program for the board to scale back is the Athletic Program.

We have over 180 young men counting on this program.  We as a community cannot let them down. We have over 100 freshmen kids who try out for the freshman team and we have to cut half of them, due to the lack of uniforms and football equipment.

By contributing your time and efforts, merchandise, supplies or monetary donations, it will help us to achieve our goals.
